In this all levels Sun Salutation Vinyasa sequence, you will practice three variations: A, B & C. This practice can be done at anytime of the day and warms you up and prepares you for a full yoga practice. It can also be a full practice by itself. The Tibetan Rites are an ancient sequence of yoga poses that are dynamic in nature with very little rest in between. These five specific poses I demonstrate will strengthen, stretch, tone and balance the body, mind and spirit. Remember to listen to your body and rest when necessary. Stay connected to the breath and you'll do great. Also if you're new to the practice, start with seven rounds of each, and work your way up to the full 21 rounds of each. For many people, forearm balances and headstands are a daunting attempt in yoga. Many injuries can come from these if they're not done properly and safely. This video is created to ease your mind and make Inversions approachable and available to all. I will guide you in a safe way through the process that can be very transformational both for balance and circulation, as well as for strength and peace of mind. If you are new to these practices please remember to watch first and if possible use the wall or an assistant for help while beginning. As you get stronger and more confident you will find yourself able to do inversions safely and easily. Always listen to your body and stay connected to your breath.
